Freesync not working

Hi,

 

I'm using Asus MG279Q freesync monitor and it works with other games but not this one, just wondering if I can manually set the refresh rate in the ini file? The moment I enter the game my monitor will pop up saying freesync diable and only work on 35-90hz, but I've already setup properly to 90hz and as I mention before it works for other games, and my experience is as long as the game allow me to specify the monitor refresh rate the problem will solved. So could you please kindly look at it, thx!

hi, I'm also using MG279Q, I've the same problem.

I set the monitor to 90hz (since the freesync range is 35hz-90hz) and i set a frame cap of 90fps global and freesync on. this works with every game.

When i launch ashes of the singularity the monitor is forced to 144hz, no way to change it in settings, and i get the message that freesync has been disabled.

its a shame because i get around 66 fps which is inside the freesync range.. anyway there's no stuttering.

I thought this was a problem just on DX12. Have you tried on DX11?
