About 30 to 50% of the time when starting the game it stays in an "Initializing..." state, never getting to the intro video. I can Alt-F4 to close the game, and most of the time it loads fine when I try again. What can I do to help you guys find and fix this bug?
I have a 970 GTX and sometimes the initialization take over a min. I have not had it not come up yet.
It always take a lot of time for the game to initialize for the first time.
that's just for the first time while it load everything in the Ram.
do the test, open the game for the first time wait for it to load, it may take more than a min depends on your PC, after it load close the game and open it again. it will takes 10 sec to load after the first time.
What is a long time? Once in one of these states I waited 10 minutes before Alt-F4-ing. Other times it loads in 10 seconds.
10 minutes? no way! i was talking about maybe 1 to 2 minutes max for the first time and a few seconds after,
try deleting and settings.ini files and do a clean re-installation of your video card driver.
