multiplayer saved game recovery - not working

2 of my friends and I opted into the alpha to try the multiplayer option. we play as a team against the A.I.

See much potential in the game.

However, the saved game feature does not seem to work at all (tried auto and manual and local and cloud) and as an alpha - it crashes a lot.

We've been playing multiplayer for at least 3-4 weeks and have tried to recover over a dozen games using various techniques.

I never see others in the multiplayer lobby, so I'm posting in case we are one of the few regularly trying this particular feature.

Recovering saved multiplayer games was a loved feature in the AOE series, and I'm hopeful it will be incorporated effectively in later (or current) releases of ashes.

Myself and two others just tried recovering two days ago. Couldn't get it working. But it was the first time trying because of a crash during a fun game.

I'm visiting my two brothers and the three of us are going to be testing this out pretty extensively this week before the Turkey arrives.

I tried a few more with my friends. Still no luck with 3v3 large or small maps.

We did get one to work 2v2 small map.

just additional note - we can get 2v2 maps to restore anytime.

3v3 will never restore

tried a 5 player map - 3 of us, 2 computers - still no luck.
