Possible AI bug on Knife Fight

I decided to try out Knife Fight and handily beat the normal AI. Awesome, right? I found out why I won so easily when I stormed their base.

I took the pic as soon as I realized what I was looking at, but I had already cleared a bunch of defenses and factories. Turns out the AI had blocked off their only way out of their base with a bunch of buildings. This lead to their units just sitting there, waiting to die, rather than pushing me back. I'll try to recreate it to get a better shot with a scout or something.

yeah, i found the ai easier on this map also.

I replayed the level and got another screenshot. The building configuration is different, so there was no weirdness, but this is the location it happened at.
