Ctrl + Unit Click bug

I've been playing Ashes for a few days now and have run into a very annoying bug. Sometimes I'll accidentally press Cntrl and then press a unit. Usually as an unsuccessful attempt to unselect a single unit from an army (I don't know why I keep doing it when I know it doesn't work). When I do this, it causes the camera to lock in on and follow that unit. I cannot find a way to undo it. My camera gets stuck on that unit and I can not pan around anymore. Bug?

I know I've done something unintentional and lost control of the camera once. I wonder if this was what I did!

I did this once and had no idea how. Thanks! Had to restart the game to undo it.

I just double tap the number for a control group and it jumps away and all is good again.
