How do you exclude the desktop from being blurred/dimmed?

When I close/minimize all the windows on my desktop, the actual desktop background remains blurred and dimmed until I click on the desktop. It should be clear once everything is minimized and/or closed. Am I missing some setting or how do I exclude the Windows desktop from being affected by the inactive windows settings?

Are you using the latest version, WindowFX 6?

I changed backgrounds and now it is working. ? Maybe it was a problem with the background I was using. Thanks!

Spoke too soon. Doing it again. Maybe it has something to with Outlook. Not sure. Anyone else with this problem?

I would check all your open windows. Maybe even click the hide all windows button on the taskbar.
