Version 1.56 looses "Standby" support

After upgrading my old German Language Start8 ver. 1.47 on my Win8-64 system to ver. 1.56 I've noticed that the "Standby/Ruhezustand" entry in the Start8 shutdown menu has disappeared. Even when I reconfigure Standby under the shutdown options it does not reappear under the shutdown options. Of course this problem may have started with a version somewhere after 1.47. At any rate I find it rather pesky. I sure hope you can restore the functionality.

What hardware are you using?

That option should only be missing if your computer is reporting no support for it.

Hi Neil. I have a completely normal MiniITX system. But hardware can't be the issue here, after all I was able to select "standby" as a shutdown option in the old Start8 ver. 1.47. Frankly I can't remember if standby is the correct Win 8 terminology. At any rate its the functionality to bump the system into a sleep mode with active ram refresh, etc and not hiberate mode as for a laptop. Maybe I should just try to return to 1.47, but eventually I'll have to bump up to Win 8.1 soon. Thanks. Do you understand my problem?
