Great questions.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire II. There have been no public announcements on it. Sins belongs to our partner, Ironclad Games. However, I suspect a Sins II will use Nitrous.

Re: Nitrous. Oxide Games owns it. It is being used on Ashes right now and Star Control (which is in development) as well as some unannounced titles.

Re: Pricing. Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion is $39.99. Ashes in early access is $39.99. It'll eventually be $49.99 at release.

Re: Sins development. Sins Rebellion was developed by Ironclad and Stardock together.

Certainly seems hopeful.

Paul Schuegraf had better do the music again, is all I have to say.  And it better continue the glorious leitmotif of the SoaSE soundtrack.

Exterminator, I agree completely. Not many people seem to point out the music from Sins, but to me it was a really large part of the experience. I think his work for Rebellion definitely showed that he was growing as a composer, and having a Sins 2 without his soundtrack would definitely leave a big hole in the atmosphere of the game for me.

I hope Sins 2 is like the Star Swarm Mantle demo and has less hardcoding, so we can get better mods. A 64-bit game engine that supports more then 2 GB of RAM would be nice too. ;P

Please please please!  I've been waiting years for this.  Sins was and still is the the first and best truly space RTS.  I liked it even more than homeworld.  Please bring Sins 2 out within the next few years and bless us with another expansion in the meantime!

So Ashes of the Singularity will play like Sins?

Their Dreadnoughts can level up and gain abilities like capital ships in Sins
