Can't Install Start 10

from Stardock Forums

I have purchase the upgrade from start 8 to start 10. I have downloaded start 10 and attempted to run it. A prompt comes up to remove start 8 and reboot. I accept this but nothing more happens. Help!

I assume you're running Windows 10. If not Start 10 won't work on Win 8.x. Uninstall start 8, run CCleaner if you have it then reboot and install Start 10, reboot again after the install.

I have fixed the problem, I just had not realized that I had to manually remove Start 8 before installing Start 10, I just assumed that it would be done automatically for me, moral of the story read the pop up carefully!

 

Have now installed Start 10 and its working just great. Thanks.
