Win 10 Modern Apps a no show

On Windows 10 Tiles appears to not be able to show modern apps except when that app is the one being used. For example If I click on the Spotify tile the Windows Edge tile disappears. But if I then click on the Edge icon on the task bar the Edge tile reappears .

Is there a fix for this?
