Hello

I cannot confirm or deny the fact that Stardock is a company made entirely of ninjas. :ninja:

That said, however, the $2 is an authorization (which is a temporary hold, not a charge). We do this check to verify that the information that you entered is the same as what is on the card (fraud check). This amount is dropped and not charged. The time it takes for it to drop off your card depends on your bank's policies.

Additionally, I would like to mention that it appears both attempts unfortunately resulted in a failed order and as a result, you have not been charged.

Please let me know if you have any further questions/concerns.

Hey dado4201,

I am actually with support, but obviously, with this being pertaining to a payment issue, it may be better handled in a ticket.

Please visit the link below to create a ticket and attach the pictures to your message:

https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit

Once you've created your ticket, you will be provided with a ticket number, please respond back to this post with the ticket number and I will look into the issue.

An authorization usually drops off your account in 3 or so business days. At least, that is the way it works here in the U.S.

That it does.

Fear not, it'll 'drop off'.

Coincidentally... 9 days hotel accommodation in New York saw a 'hold' of $450 [50 per night] on our US trip.

It too 'dropped off' a few days later...;)
