Question before Lifetime Purchase!

Tried to search around a bit but didn't really see a specific answer!

Huge Sins of a Solar Empire fan, but it blows donkey being that its NOT MULTI-CORE!

Seeing it max out 1 CPU in a game with friends (and them confirming on their own systems), then lagging after a good 3 hours is maddening!

Please tell me that Ashes of the Singularity will support MultiCore (DX12 or not!)

*And no, the specs which list a multicore processor are not enough to answer this question, many games list this but indeed the engine is single core!

It's a 64bit game that will utilize all of your CPU cores. The more, the better!  :cylon:

Another answer for you is this.

Sins of a Solar Empire was developed around 2006 by an indie company called Ironclad. Multicores and 64bit was talked about but very few gamers/developers had access to these things. Ironclad probably didn't factor in how awesome the game would do. Stardock merely helped with publishing.

Stardock, on the other hand, was neither an indie company back then nor are they now. Plus, Stardock is known for its forward thinking and long term support (which may have helped Sins longevity). Games developed by Stardock will be well taken.
