Okay, I won the battle against Morian, Ruin of Summer, but he wasn't actually in the battle only his minions were. Hmmmm. What happened there?

It's an issue w/ the Asag Tactical Map which has been there since LH 1.8 (See 2nd paragraph of Hellions reply). There's a number of Swamp Tactical Maps you can use that probably fix this issue, I use T_Barren_Swamp_01.
