I can't see my cursor

So I just installed demigod and when I go in to play there is no visible cursor, or at least the cursor on screen doesn't move. Like the game's cursor doesn't move with the actual selecting cursor. I can still click on things and use the cursor in the menu, but I can't see where my cursor is unless I'm over an option, and that's because the options are highlighted whenever a cursor is on them.
