I like the one time big Update per month.

the UI Concept that you have in the vault, I like it a lot, is this UI coming next week more updated than the UI concept?

I know its a concept but it looks really good.

The screenshot here isn't a concept it's from the current build. :)

The new build has lots of crash fixes...and lots of new crash bugs...

Looks great! The bars and green/red rate colours is what I have always wanted.

Quick UI bug, not sure if it's been addressed:

The button to disband the selected battlegroup only works if that battlegroup is selected alongside units that are not within that group. If only the battlegroup itself is selected, the button to disband it doesn’t work. The relevant hotkey disbands the battlegroup as expected in both situations.

I seem to remember fixing that one recently, HateDread, but I'll double-check.

Thanks Frogboy!

Oh I also wanted to mention that I really like that you guys are planning to add more contrast to the UI.  Right now it's all to similar and the colors of the game and the UI to blend to well together.  I like what is planned and I can't wait to see it to give suggestions to tweak it further (nothing can ever be perfect xD)!!

Just wondering; is a better/earlier notification or warning about resources running out in this update? For example, once you get below 10-20% of a resource, it should flash or change in some way. In the heat of battle I have no hope of noticing it (although the bars that diminish may now make it easier). When I hear the announcement that I'm out of radioactives, for example, it's too late to avoid a big penalty :)

That would be a nice implementation.

I love the new UI layout - so much easier to use.

BUT, it does not scale well (or at all?) with screen size - at 1024 x 1280 I can only see until half way through the engineers' logistics panel. Thus, I cannot build logistics arrays, and cannot field an army of > 100 logistics.

This being said, yes, I do know that for the Alpha version you are supposed to have at least a 1080p monitor, although that requirement was not posted until after I bought it. I am sure that the UI scaling for various screen sizes and common aspect ratios be be fixed eventually.
