Forget a campaign mode - it doesn't need it and if they did add it.. it wouldn't be the selling point. Sins is successful for the mod-ability and the game-play, not the story. If they release SINS II with 64bit, full Multi-core support (can eat as many cores as you have), graphics overhaul, and revamp the UI.

It's like printing money for them.

True, I would be happy with that, but I would also like to see a campaign mode come with it, there's just so much story they could add in a campaign, starting from the beginning before the Vasari arrive and then into a long war where the Vasari's enemy shows up too.

Buddy this game is niche. I don't think anything about sins is like printing money.

I'd be ok without a campaign, as long as there is capabilities to make 'scenarios' or missions, with some sort of scripting/trigger events and so on.
That way we could make our own campaigns and such if they didn't want to dedicate so much effort to it.
They could also then add campaigns later on if they wanted.

I'd like to see the 3-dimensional aspect improved slightly both in control and map layout, and being able to have rotating turrets with defined tracking speeds and to either have projectile rounds modelled (so they can miss) or at the very least be able to set 'accuracy' ratings so you can have powerful heavy guns that are less useful against smaller, faster ships.

So many questions unanswered... what is chasing the Vasari????

Yeah.. i've been wondering what's actually Vasari's biggest threat for a long time... Hopefully we get to see at least a glimpse of what-is-it enemy which makes it sounds very scary and extremely dangerous...

In my opinion, it might be something that similar to an ancient being that swallow anything on it's path & it operates almost similar to hive type of beings...

Anyone got some ideas?????????????

Many mods, including my own, have tried to answer the question of who the Vasari was running from.

It's a question that will never be answered officially unless its another DLC or a Sins 2.

I want a new sins with new and old ships and new races with new weapons. I have quite a few ideas if ironclad wants to hear. WE NEED SINS 2. must have the race that I think it was advent that was running away from.

I agree with you but just one thing guys, does SINS 2 game have the possibility of having an inter-stellar faction collision.... I mean like these SIN factions stumbled upon other galactic being similar to Star Wars Interregnum Mod but this one might be a late-campaign part which later becomes accessible to play that factions via skirmishes or something similar..

I prefer 1 factions that very ancient yet powerful that is the source of what Vasari is running away from, 1 factions which basically it's oldest rival and 1 factions of old remnant of the 1000 year explorations team or such... JUST MY IDEA... No offense here okay...

What do you guys think.?????

organic ships that literally divides/replicates like cells  MUCH LIKE CELL MITOSIS-imagine it you can have a cinematic or zoom in function showing it pulsating or ripples of inflating/deflating mass of flesh  of  hull before the splitting apart into 2-SO YOU HAVE TWO THE FIRST REPRODUCTION THEN 4 THEN 8 THEN 16 THEN 32 THEN 64 THEN  128 THEN  256 THEN  512 THEN 1024 THEN 2048 THEN 4096 -"EVENTUALLY YOU COULD GET WITHIN THE NEXT REPRODUCTION MILLIONS OR BILLIONS-INNUMERABLE-SO IN THE GAME THE OPPONENT HAS TO DESTROY THEM IN THEIR "BRIEF DORMANT PHASE" BEFORE THEY DIVIDE AND REPLICATE-TECH TO DETECT AND LOCATE THIS PHASE COULD INCREMENTALLY BE DEVELOPED (MEANING DETECTING IT INCREMENTALLY OVER LONGER OMN-IDIRECTIONAL DISTANCES IN THE GAME)

develop sins 2 with the opposition ships as bio ships that can divide by cell like  citosis replicating geometrically-doubling every time they go through mitosis like replication with cinematic sequence of mucus like stretching between the splitting/copying of the now two ships- so it's 2 then 4 then 16 then 32 then 64 then the next generation of replication is 128 and so on  because it is geometrically replicating ---other mechanical ships could leave tech falling off of various tech  ships after or during battle or falling bio samples from  bio ships for you to research with development so that you could have a hybrid ship developed-the bio ships could easily overwhelm you  so to offset that there is a period of dormancy in which the bio ships are inert while going through replication phase - so as you progress in the game you slowly develop better tech at finding  them at greater and greater distances while they are in that dormant phase-but it will be a race against time to kill enough of them before they activate and overwhelm you!!!

At this point if they're going to make it, let's have some real fun, make the game and UI usable and navigable in an Oculus or whatever VR environment.

seeds from organic ships so dense in organic DNA and protected by a dense shell would land on an organically dense planet like a dense jungle or megalopolis and as soon as it lands you would see from orbit a black mass spreading in all directions ,enveloping everything INSTANTLY!-When it reaches a certain size it retracts back to the point of origin forming into an organic ship WITHIN  A MINUTE!! . As it retracts it leaves literally no organic remains , only a barren scarred landscape devoid of even microbial life that "was" burrowed deep below the surface -nothing remains!!!- the size of ship would depend on "how much organic material there was  and the time needed  to form it to form the "size and class of ship"-so for instance for a super class juggernaut of death it would need nearly a week after "retraction" to fully assimilate material and a massively dense super continent of organic life to form out of , while a scout ship could be formed in an hour with only the need of an island with sparse life on it-the creation of each class of ship would be seen forming in cinematic mode from orbit-THE SPREADING OUT OF THE BLACK MASS IN ALL DIRECTIONS WOULD ONLY TAKE SECONDS TO  A MINUTE TO COMPLETELY ENVELOPE A SUPERCONTINENT-ALL THAT'S BLANKETED IS INSTANTLY DEAD!!!- THE RETRACTION TO FORM A SHIP  WOULD BE IMMEDIATE  "BUT"  THE GESTATION PERIOD OF COMPLETE ARRANGEMENT AND ASSIMILATION OF MATERIAL WILL TAKE TIME DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF SHIP!!

these organic ships would be their version of a troop ship landing to eradicate while efficiently swelling the ranks of fighting "ORGANIC" capital ships into their arsenal at the same time -efficiency beyond the conventional scope of it's enemies-relentless and devoid of fear-intelligent depending on the size of hive fleet and ruthless with no real form of diplomacy
