The steam achievements for slaying the legendary elemental bosses does not seem to work

I have slain every elemental boss multiple times and I just dot seem to receive the achievements on steam. Is this a known bug? Are there any fixes for this out there?
No, I was connected to steam most of the time. i.e if i for example slew Torax 3 times i am absolutely sure I was connected during 2/3 times.
Mods enabled?
Did you slay the monsters within their territory? (Not a requirement listed, but there is a bug that makes that a requirement for the area to clear, perhaps that messes with achievements as well?)
Yes I did slay them within their territory. My issue seems to be very similar to these ones below

I guess there are others with the same problem but i cannot find a solution online.. I completed all other achievements except for these bosses. I know the steam achievements don't mean much, but still for some annoying reason I wanna get them all.
When you killed them multiple times, was this with the same game. Meaning did you just go back to a previous save game and try again. Thinking maybe that save game is bugged/corrupted a bit. Or maybe they had left their area and some earlier point and then went back, and that messed up the achievement. Does the area clear to fertile land on killing them?
The achievements themselves are not broken for everyone as I do have 100% on this game - the only game I have 100% on!

Perhaps this is the issue here, your save file.
You just made me jealous! Yeah i did load back saved games and slew them multiple times.. maybe that was a problem. But I received the trophy and all for killing them but just not the achievement. I will try out a new game , on a large map and make sure I am online when I slay the bosses .
On another note, when i slayed the bosses, all of em were on large maps and in every map I actually had 2 bosses in the same map not 1 but 2. So i end up slaying 2 different bosses each game, I thought that might have had something to do with the broken achievements. Do you guys think that might be a factor at all? If you think so, any suggestions?
When I get an achievement legitimately, but it doesn't trigger for steam, if I care enough there's usually save files located somewhere that are dedicated to steam achievement hunters for this sort of purpose.
Alternatively, launching it with cheats enabled may or may not block achievements; if it doesn't, it shouldn't be too hard to get it that way. If it does block achievements? I don't know what to tell you.
The last thing is that I've found repeatedly saving/loading FE:LH is pretty unstable - playing it on a psuedo-ironman mode usually leads to better results (and a harder game 
)
I dont mind a harder game.. I am most definitely going to give it another try over this weekend. 
. But.. eermmm.. I dunno what a "psuedo-ironman mode " is.. can you explain it a bit please 
Ironman modes for games generally are when saving/loading is restricted to exiting the game, or not being able to save at all. Basically, if something goes wrong, too bad, deal with it, and zero reloading for any reason whatsoever.
Champion glitched and disappeared? Sucks to be you (but it happens to the AI too occasionally). Misclicked in diplomacy and declared war? Well, I hope you're on war footing. Got really unlucky in a battle and lost? No retrying 
There's no actual setting for it in the game, but that's why it's "psuedo-ironman"; you just have to keep yourself from reloading an earlier state of the game, which also tends to help with stability (or so I've found).
