I know this is an IT question, BUT

have you turn ON the show hidden folders and files in the control panel folder options?

the easy way to get to this is click on start, then settings, then in the box in the top right of the window type hidden, the only option should be 'show hidden files and folders

ok the trinity mod path on win10 64 bit is c:\users\(windows user name)\appdata\local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Diplomacy v1.37

with the appdata being a hidden/system folder so that you can see or alter it easily, please turn off BOTH the hiders mentioned in my first two replies so that you can navigate down to the sins folder, and put a shortcut to it on the desktop, then you can re hide the system files & folders

still nothing. it says there is no such folder. i have already made sure that ALL hidden files are viewable in ALL the folders. isnt there a way i can just crreate one from scratch?

When you click on "Show Mod Path" its suppose to do it automatically. If not then you may have to which is odd.

You need to show hidden files, and folders to find the mod path

ive already made sure all the hidden files are visable. i see app data in there and ive combed through all the folders i cant find one named mod for entrenchment diplomacy or trinity.

have you clicked on the mods menu inside the sins GAME?

from memory this step is needed to actually create the mods folder(s), and just look inside the local under the appdata, and inside the local, look for Ironclad Games.

I know this question is a Little bit old but my mod Folder for WIN 10 64 bit is here:

C:\Users\(your user Name)\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.82

yes that would be the REBELLION path, but NOT the trinity/vanilla/entrenchment/diplomacy path which is what I was outlining
