I do miss the old GCII ability to pick a custom logo and colors rather than having to make a custom race for each.

Very ice indeed! Thanks for sharing them. Now I'm off to edit some existing races I D/Led from the forum that has copies of the the same logos. Actually, it's late and I'm going to bed now. Tomorrow I'll do it.

Small criticism: the use of textures can make them muddy looking when they are small on the screen. Similarly, having most of them inside of a circle shape makes them hard to differentiate if you have dozens of factions at once. The more distinctive shapes of the most recent set are much easier to distinguish.

I'm sorry what I post is not good enough for your needs. I just put together things I find, and if anyone finds a use for them, that's nice. It only cost me time to find,  edit, and post, and nothing for others to use or dismiss. I never claimed what I put up is of any quality, I do try to go a little for quantity so that maybe someone might find a nugget they can use. If you want high quality work, look to others like Gauntlet, He has talent and great imagination. I'm just an old man who works 58+ hours a week as a restaurant manager, and I just do what little I can to help a game I enjoy playing.

And by the way, there are many others who also do great work, Gauntlet's Race Mod  was the first example that popped to mind.

You seem to have taken the criticism a bit hard mate. I think his criticisms can easily be solved by increasing contrast or removing the circle itself.

Personally I am very grateful for this resource pack (something I should be writing in nearly every thread but then I'd be here all day). I sort of like that some look similar as I could turn them into different clans and subfactions of a species. That saves in on race pics too!

Are you by any chance thinking of making a pack of FGs and portraits of aliens, rather than buxom broads?

Not really planning to change because I don't have time. I do the "Sexy Leaders" because it is to some extent different from what others do. You along with others are right that they one sided. I have been considering just to stop doing them. As I said, I know what I do is of no real quality, and for the most part really has no real place in sci-fi, It just goes back to old memories of what I grew up with. Such as One Million Years B.C. with  Raquel Welch, Barbarella with Jane Fonda, the original Star Trek, or Buck Rogers in the 25th Century to name a few. They all showed beautiful sexy women. Hell it was advertising to our libidos, "Sex Sells". I also like how it has changed to now not only are they beautiful and desirable, but strong and intelligent, such as Sigourney Weaver in Alien. I'm an old married man who works hard and just uses gaming as a way to relax and free my mind for a few hours a week from all the crap I have to deal with. Ssooo, for me, gaming is only meant to be fun and entertaining, and I don't play it as a hard core gamer.

Went through and decided to clean up some old ones I got when looking for one when making my "Sexy Leader Races". So I cut them out and used them to make another set. Several mermaids, wings, and 3D's. Set can be downloaded off of Nexus:

Please don't stop doing them, he was only suggesting if in the future you fancy doing more how to improve some of them. You don't have to take the advice if you don't want, they still look nice

Thanks, I am actually going to post more than a hundred more in the next week. It just takes so much time to do. I just find so many possible ones when I go looking for one for a new race and this last time found a ton. I am going to prepare them all before I post again. and yes many are round, many are square, probably many wont be usable, they just caught my eye so I grabbed them. I am also putting in the few I had originally posted in my "Sexy Leader" mod that I have been splitting up into my other mods ("New Sexy Leaders", New GalCiv3 BG's", and this mod).

Have now added 6 new sets of 24 logo's to Nexus, bringing the total now to 312. Hope some are usable.
