While my initial reaction to the Governors was close to  a horrified "uhhh....", after putting together a quick mod for them, I think they might be growing on me a little as an idea.  That's not to say "I think I really like them~", just "hmm... I think maybe I could like them?".  Soooo... my question is:

 Q: Right now  The governors seem to really like ~28/28/48 , which cripples specialized worlds & we can't seem to adjust the ratios like we can in AIStrategydefs.xml.  Can these be made a little more sane like at least 80/10/10?

Q: Right now PlanetGovernLockTech  is set in Galciv3Globaldefs.xml with a single option that can't be nullified by pointing it to a free tech like "TechTree" because it only unlocks after research on that tech is complete.  Can we get that changed to allow a starting tech like TechTree to unlock it and allow multiple option type format used by other stuff?

ie:

<Prerequ>

<Techs>
<Option>IndustrialSpecialization1</Option>
<Option>IndustrialSpecialization2</Option>
<Option>IndustrialSpecialization3</Option>
</Techs>
<TechAge>
<Option>AgeOfExpansion</Option>
</TechAge>
</Prerequ>

Yea I am not a fan of not being able to adjust the planetary wheel until I unlock governors.

What was the reason for this design?

Great job in any event, thank you for your hard work Stardock!

The stream's audio was pretty borked for the first 10 minutes or so.  After that they turned off Paul's mike and just had him speak loudly so it could be picked up by the other one.

Snathi! I remember the old GCII days when I first encountered them and almost fell out my chair. Good times.

Now then, I have a little question; will the coming DLC affect the existing Snathi minor race when installed? As in, will they have the new ship style and will their leader change name once installed? It's a bit strange that there will be two Snarky out there, unless they are all called Snarky. That would be mildly confusing.

And yes the audio was bonkers. It happens.

Frankly, it was very immersion-breaking to have to accept that Paul was actually in the same studio as the presenter, and not in a tiny capsule orbiting Pluto, as I had previously been imagining.

Both the minor and major Snathi will exist, they will have different names. The major will be called Snathi Revenge.

That does not answer my question. My question was if the minor faction would retain their leader's name and if the minor faction would get the shipstyle. At no point did I ask if the minor faction was to be removed.

As far as I know the minor will remain unchanged.

Thank you for doing the feeds. They are appreciated. I just wanted to add a bit of my own feedback since I could not attend.

I personally like the wheel. I don't micro manage my planets individually. I do them as a whole. Could it be ramped up by individual focus? Sure. When I play I play against normal AI usually. I tend to win those games, and with a slight increase in the difficulty its challenging. I hope that the wheel doesn't just vanish. maybe have it be attached to the difficulty level or an option.

1 Idea for fleet/ship display on the right task bar. Maybe make the banner for a fleet a different color to help distinguish the 2 visually.

Lastly a question. Do you think we could have an update to the way diplomatic files are handled enabling modders to build their own include files instead of requiring an override to FlavorText?

One concern regarding the end of the "crazy numbers", is that the game might be running on rails a little too much with capped output. Maybe some late game buildings should be allowed to do wild things, and shake it up, just to spice up the end of the journey?

Game flow is obviously important, but you still would want to feel alive at some point. If not a synthetic being at least. Then you should feel electrified instead. .-p
