Chances of a Linux client?

So I got an email and it mentioned the Founder's Edition, and I said to myself 'Hey, look, it's still available! Let's get a copy!'. On the site, I read all the info, thought the Founder Ed sounded good, but the Lifetime Founder sounded better. Then I read the system requirements... Windows only? No Linux client, OK, no Mac client either? Nothing?

Windows is at a real inflection point, and users are pretty fed up, even if they're not sure what they're going to do about it yet, and I'd recommend becoming OS-agnostic sooner than later, so that you can remain flexible.

Just my 99$ worth, I guess, since I no longer have nor want any Windows machines in the house. Please commit to a Linux client, and I can guarantee at least one Lifetime Founder sale.

I want to see a Linux version too.

In the FAQ they stated:

Windows PC for now, but we are entirely confident that we’ll release Ashes on MacOS, SteamOS, and Linux. Oxide Games is part of the Khronos group, which is developing the next-gen Vulkan graphics API that should be the API of choice on those platforms. This gives us great confidence in getting Ashes and Nitrous running on those platforms in the not-too-distant future.

I really hope they follow through with Vulkan and it's not just empty promises
