Cant log into stardock ssl2

Work computer

Put steam on the work computer and tried to play fallen enchantress but I can't log into stardock so it won't let me play. I get a pop up "connection with the server has been terminated. Incompatible ssl for example winhttp 5.1 does not support ssl2.

 

Anything I can do?

Your employer probably has that type of stuff blocked so you cannot play. You might ask your tech support.

I installed the game. I play other games. It's something about how stardock authenticates on their end. Can't even log in to the forum, have to be off WiFi on my phone.

Did this happen all of a sudden? Did it ever work at your work? It sounds like your work is blocking the activation.

This is the first time I installed this game at work. I've run it at home no problem. I'm going to try a pass through with my phone's 4g and see if that works.
