custom visual style breaks SFX

I know that Stardock has not promised that shadowfx would be compatible with any theme OTHER than the default 8.1 theme; however, I'm hoping someone will take mercy and offer advice.  I've recently starting playing around with VistaStyleBuilder (now WindowsStyleBuilder) and found that SOME themes others' have made work perfect with shadowfx but most don't.  I just can't seem to figure out what the "magic" formula is...if anyone could offer information as to what ShadowFx looks for in order to know what to attach shadows to I'd greatly appreciate it.

Your theme must not be marked as high contrast as some may be to fake transparency.

However I would strongly recommend against the use of a third party theme with it as you may well get poor results.

Thank you, I'll give it a look to see if I can find that parameter.  FYI, shadowfx works great when it shows up.  In fact, it would seem to me you guys could probably make a few small changes to get it working with all themes and then give ppl even more reason to buy this cool application!   Just a thought....
