What are we trying to accomplish?

  • You are fighting a WAR. Not a battle.
  • Battles on multiple fronts.
  • Your APM is irrelevant. It’s about your strategy – controlling strategic positions. Cutting off supply lines. Units don’t die very fast.
  • Strong RTS AI for single player
  • Unparalleled scale.  Massive maps with thousands of units.
  • Easy to mod, easy for people to create and share maps
  • Random map choices.
  • Lots of configurability

Who should NOT join?

The founder’s program isn’t for everyone:

  • Founder’s builds are very rough. Not for the casual player.
  • Game play, art and design are still very early.
  • There is an NDA still. No streaming or public screenshots yet please wo permission.
  • We are looking for experienced RTS players. We want to make sure that our UI and game mechanics rewards good strategy.
  • The hardware requirements for the founder’s program is very high. Video card needs at least 1GB of memory.
  • We are looking to build a core community for the game as the team is looking to enhance this game for a long time (like what we’re doing with GalCiv III!).

Who are we?

  • The team is made up of veterans from Civilization IV, Civilization V, Sins of a Solar Empire, Galactic Civilizations and lots of other RTS and 4X games.

I am really looking forward this next build. Lets see, what it gives us. For my dx12 is great because of the utilization of the cpu graphic unit in addition to the main graphics card.

Keep on going, guys.

Quoting EdWood110,

I have been wondering about that as well.

Same here... I won't force something but I'd like to get more informations about it. 2 friends already asked me to share my steam account with them. xD

It'll be obvious. :) DirectX 12 version exists.

Really? And what about Win 7 and 8.1 ? They can't start Dx12 version ;)  But I think it's enough if you go to the folder and check for the DX12 exe to start the game ;)  Ir start with DX 11 and check the benchmark! ;)

Ah good point.  The verion number is 0.49.

As for extra keys: The plan is October for the additional keys now so that we can ramp up the multiplayer prior to the public beta and give founders and their friend some time to get up to speed on MP.

I am loving what I am seeing in this game so far. Please allow for mods? and DO NOT water down the gfx, for the love of GOD, please do not skimp, we don't need anymore dam smart phone gfx games for console games gfx on these real game rigs(PC's) with good hardware. And yes all you cheap as*es who own old rigs, cheap garbage laptops ect... need not apply, you are the reason for games not being pushed forward in the progress department, and don't tell me you aren't as you most likely don't even buy games as your hardware shows you are to cheap to spend any cash on your beloved hobby.

Got my money, pre-ordering now!!

Thanks!

Why not a 320x200 mode? . Our minimum resolution will ultimately be as low as we can do it without comprising the UI. For now, 1920x1080 is the minimum. 1600x900 might be doable.

Less than 40% of steam gamer's are running at 1080p or better, I don't think it's a big deal for a beta, but it would limiting your customer base for the final release to not have a lower resolution.  Though that 1080p percentage will no doubt continue to rise by the time the final release hit's, and the ratio of people that meet the rest of the specs but not screen size is probably fairly limited.
