Update to Metaverse

I have so far played and completed 3 games including one huge/godlike. However none of my scores are uploaded on to Metaverse. Not that it really matters but I am curious. Is there any option or setting that have to change in order for the game scores to be added?

All your games are automatically uploaded to the Metaverse. There are 3 ways to find yourself and your game history in the Metaverse:
 

  1. The easiest way to find yourself is to click the GalCiv3 menu button "Hall of Fame" in-game. This will take you to your Metaverse profile on the GalCiv3.com webpage. Make sure your GalCiv3 game is up to date! 
  1. Alternatively you can click on the "Login" button at the top right of the Metaverse page. You will be prompted to login to Steam. Then hover over the "Welcome" button and click "My Profile" to view your GalCiv3 profile page.
  1. One area of potential confusion... the GalCiv3 Metaverse uses your Steam profile name, which can differ from the username you use to log into Steam and your Stardock.com account. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Steam homepage to view your profile page. This shows your profile name at the top. Once you have your profile name you can enter that in the search box at the top of the GalCiv3 Metaverse to find your profile.


The Stardock Games team is working to enable linking your Stardock.com / forum account to your Steam account. This will make the process easier in the future as well.

My profile name on both are the same. Hall of Fame does not show any scores against my name. When I search the metaverse using the profile name it says name exists but there is nothing against it. If it helps I can send the save games just prior to finish on the games so far (just finished gigantic/genius and that's not showing up either).

Had reinstalled the game in between and that too has made no difference.

If there is any data that I need to provide to figure this out do let me know.

Please post or open a support ticket with the following information:

  • Steam profile name.
  • The URL in your browser when clicking "Hall of Fame" from within GalCiv3.
  • Version number displayed on the GalCiv3 menu. 

With this information we can investigate further.

This issue was resolved by enabling "Collect Gameplay Data" in Options -> Interface.
