"Settings" link doesn't seem to work

Under the Configure menu, I have selected that "Settings" be displayed as a link, but it does not appear in my Start10 menu.

All the other link displays seem to work -- I haven't tried them all, but I have switched a dozen or so on and off.

If I revert to the Windows 10 Menu, "Settings" does appear -- but I can't get it to appear within Start10.

Was this an upgrade of Start10 over an older version?

If so uninstall Start10, reboot and then reinstall as it may be all the Start10 files were not upgraded.

The Settings link should appear above "This PC" on the right hand side.  This is also the default setting so should always be visible on a clean install.

No, it was a first-time, brand-new install.

I am on trial version -- but plan to buy a license later tonight.

Above This PC on the right, my menu shows Desktop.

Do you still want me to uninstall and reinstall?

Have you deleted the Settings shortcut under all programs?

That would explain it swapping to say "Desktop" which means shortcut not found

Also what language version is your Start10?

1) No -- but last night I uninstalled Start10.

2) English.

I am going to give the stock Win10 start menu a few days, to see if I can adapt to it. If not, I will reinstall Start10.

Btw, last night, after uninstalling Start10, I also tried Classic Shell, but uninstalled that after using it for a half hour or so. If I do decide to use a start menu modification program, it will definitely be Start10. Despite the small glitch I encountered. and despite the small license fee, it's far superior to anything else I found.
