$3.99 upgrade more than fair

Please friends, are you really gonna kvetch over a $3.99 upgrade price?  Less than a single Starbucks...

Yes - read below.. Several are kvetching..   I guess some people think everything should be freeware.

The $5 cost of W10 Start was reasonable enough that I hadn't considered an upgrade of the W8 Start to be within the realm of possibilities.   I suppose I've become accustomed to those iPhone apps that change versions and start over as a new app each time.  I'm pleased that Stardock has continued their work on the Start project because the Windows 10 menu isn't for everyone.

I guess I have a different point of view. The new Windows 10 Menu is sufficiently productive for me to relinquish my need for Start8. If Start10 is no more than a paid upgrade of bug fixes to Start8 then I am content to keep my money and use the Windows 10 menu. Though I suspect some people aren't flexible enough to make the change and still need to see the Win7 style menu. My own wife would be such a person :)

At least I found that all out before paying for Start10 on my own system.

Kudos to Stardock for providing the best transition mechanism with Start8 on Win8. Sadly after years of using various Stardock products, Start8 was the last vestige of their software on my computers. So I guess I'll be signing off soon.

If you have a problem with $3.99 I suspect they won't shed too many tears.

I would certainly wait to see what Start10 v1.0 has to offer before rejecting it totally out of hand.
