Favorites in start 10

Do internet explorer and edge share favorites in windows 10.  If not which set will be displayed in the favorites menu?

I would imagine Microsoft will have set them to share them.

I found documentation that states that edge favorites are stored here

Edge, the Favorites folder is now located at %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\Favorites.

whereas ie favorites are stored under the user profile

You might want to consider having an option to allow user to select which favorites are displayed on the start menu.  I assume I will start using edge so I would want

my edge favorites to be on the start menu (not IE).  However if I go back to IE, It would be nice to switch it back.

Actually there is a setting within Start 10 (version 1.00) that gives you the option of choosing to use Internet Explorer or Edge.  I just found it since I use IE as my web browser and my favorites were not showing up.  To change the setting go into Configure Start 10 (right click on the start button). Under the Style heading, choose Configure and then click the Advanced button.  There is a selection titled "Use Microsoft Edge favorites rather than Internet Explorer", if you uncheck that like I did you will see your Internet Explorer favorites instead of your Edge favorites.
