Start10 Beta on Windows 10 RTM?

Hi all.  I just purchased the Start 10 upgrade, and was wondering if it's safe to install it on the RTM (specifically 10240.16384.150709) of Windows 10? I know that it's in beta right now, but I am just wondering if it's fine to install it on mentioned version without too many issues (again, being that it's beta) and not hose my install?

It should be safe to install yes.  We have an updated build which should hopefully get released tomorrow as well with some new features.

Awesome! Now knowing about the update, and as tempting as it is, I think I will wait until you guys push out that update :)

Thanks for responding!

The web page says the final version will be released on the date that Win 10 is released. Can't see anywhere to d/l it yet. Is that what you are referring to in the post above.

Thanks Neil. Maybe they should remove the statement from the web site page then to avoid confusion.

Do you mean the Start10 product page? It says this currently, "Each purchase includes access to the Start10 final release which will be available soon after Windows 10 releases." There's also a nice countdown clock on the site. If there's another site saying something different, please link me so I may report it to our team, thank you.

I can confirm that the beta 0.57 worked on the final build without any problems for me, just downloaded 0.99 and no problems so far.

OK so it has just been changed. It was still saying available on the day that Win 10 is released up to last night when I checked it in preparation for updating to Win 10.

No problem anyway, just trying to be helpful.
