Difficult settings. Changes?

Hi there,

this game is bloody awesome!

i just finished a normal game with medium map as the mage. The only thing that i didnt like was that the game dragged out quite a bit because the map was just so huge.

i plan to start as a priest on hard but there are no tooltips about what hard changes. i tryd to compare stats and a archer bandit on normal has 7 rating + 14 hp and on hard he has 7 rating + 15 hp....is that all?! o.O

From what I can gather.. because I'm running a game on impossible.. those shard attacks? and or sitting in territory monsters.. get super accelerated "high stats" thats all I can see so far.. since I have the mage with hypnosis.. I think that is a easy way to gain some high level units too boot..

It's a lot like Fallen Enchantress with monsters on the hardest setting so far..

Playing on insane - unit sizes (hit points) get inflated, monster levels are quite high - but attack, as far as it's not related to number characters in a unit, does not change. The level increase hurts for Fallen Enchantresses etc., that do damage dependent on level, but otherwise - it's just a numbers slugfeast. And because I also play a Wizard with hypnotize - and spellcraft items stack ... I haven't produced any own unit except for settlers (sorry, pioneers). The failed wizard's are quite nice to have in your own army.
