Future DLC Idea

Basically, for a future DLC pack (about the same price as the current map maker) would we be able to have additional interface theme colours that are not linked to factions? Additional map themes would also be appreciated, along with additional ship colours (as I know ship styles will be included with later expansions which will assumedly contain other races).

Another appreciated DLC that I would certainly like to see is a materials/textures pack that would add in more surface textures and materials for ships - just to give some extra flair to the ship styles and designs we already have.

I would rather have xpacks like sins of a solar empire did, this map editor should've been free seeing as it should have been released with it.

Interface, map and ship colours can all be modded to have new ones. For example, the Xitak interface is a strange deep yellow and red theme.

If the mod's done right they will show up when making new races... Not good for multiplayer but free to do/download yourself. If Stardock charged money for what fans could do in a few minutes people would be curious, if not annoyed.

(*cough* which is why the editor is included in the map pack. Sorry SD I love ya :P)

 

However new materials would be cool... And what I would LOVE is new styles. Modded ship sets rule, and have doubled my enjoyment of the game already, but they're really just combinations of what already exists.

So that DLC would be good~
