Start8 in Windows 10?

When I upgrade to Windows 10 what will happen to my Start8 installation?

It may still function in some regard, though it was designed for Windows 8. Using it on Windows 10 is not supported. It may be best to uninstall before upgrading to Win10. After you've done so, I suggest downloading Start10 and using it as it was designed for Windows 10.

Aside from it being a bit ugly, it seems to be working as expected.  Aside from being unsupported, are there any known issues?

It will not match the OS colour correctly, the cortana search bar will overlap the pinned icons, modern UI app icons may be less than ideal in some cases and the modern UI apps list includes many other apps which are not functional.

Start10 has none of these problems.

Same here, although I lost the recent games sub-menu from steam.  Only Steam too as far as I can see.  Not sure if this is a Steam on Windows 10 issue or a Start 8 on Windows 10 issue.

I will be upgrading to Start 10 soon though.

Win10 doesn't recognize Start8 as incompatible, and upgrading to Win10 with Start8 still installed yielded no issues.  It works as it always had.

In fact, it wasn't until I enabled beta in desktop manager that I noticed Start10 was there.  I'm hesitant to switch, as Start8 still provides exactly what I want.

Well done, Start8 team.  It's great to see such a solid piece of work!
