I found a disc with a backup of all my old (and I mean old!) Windowblinds skins. Will they still work with the current version?

All depends on how old. The older they are the less 'completely' they are likely to skin the GUI fully...;)

XP Vista and Win7. Maybe not so much Vista but XP and Win7 definitely.
