Awesome! Perhaps when I get the hang of it, we can go head to head. I was pretty good at that sort of thing in my younger days. About 100 years ago.

The wife said I should do a multi monitor setup for it and gave me the green light to buff my system to handle it.  I'm thinking 3 monitors across for the view and one below for the instruments.

Picked up a bunch of stuff but refunded everything except Offworld Trading Company. Refunded: Savage Lands, 3dMark, Satellite Reign, Convoy, Witcher 3, War for the Overworld etc etc.

Purchased GalCiv 3 while it was still only 10% off. Funny thing is it didn't bug me. I thought it was worth it.

Just to let you know....no matter what you throw at it FSX is never happy totally.

GTX980 ...32gig DDR4... M.2 Harddrive...i7 5960x ....

Might benchmark Res Evil 5 at an average of 250.8 fps [1680x1050 DX10]....

...but FSX is another story...;)

Holy crap! A GTX980? Well, I guess I could sell BOTH of my kidneys.   :omg:  

My GTX750 seems to handle DCS on its highest settings so far. The best I could reasonably consider right now would be a GTX970.

Had to bump my RAM from 8 to 16GB and ordered another 16 to be installed when it comes in the post.  FSX graphics don't seem to be as realistic as DCS World so far, but that could be because I haven't downloaded any maps for either one.  

I like both FSX and DCS so far.

Bought a game for a friend, but my backlog is way to long to buy.... 

 

or rather I actually bought Plants vs Zombies for a dollar. My son loves tower defense (he is almost six now).  And I got Unstoppable Gorg for free (thanks Raven)
