My game does not work

Thanks, I already did it. If i get a solution I´ll post it here. Maybe it can help other people if they have the same problem.

Ok, these are the recommended requirements:

• 64-bit Windows 7 / 8 / 10 OS

• i7 (or equivalent) CPU

• 8 GB Memory

• 4 GB DirectX 11 Video Card

• 1920x1080 Display Resolution

• High-speed Internet Connection

And this is my computer:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
       
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU

 Memory: 8192 MB RAM

GeForce GT 320 4050 MB

DirectX Version: DirectX 11

The why the only answer i have received is that I do not meet the minimum requirements?

A GeForce GT 320 is an incredibly weak card from 5 years ago (unless you have made a typo) . I can just about run the alpha on a 765m and according to gpuboss (which you can use to compare cards) it is several times more powerful than the 320. Is there really a 320 with 4 gig of RAM? I find that hard to believe, perhaps is is taking some system RAM to reach that number.

At this time of Alpha the recommended specs are probably not far off the minimum specs, apart from perhaps 2gig of VRAM instead of 4.

It´s an old card, but the minimum requirements say i need just 2 GB DirectX 11 Video Card so a 4 GB card should be enough even if t´s an old one. But If it´s not enough, then they should explain it in the requirements list.

Oh, an there is at least another person here who had the same problem as me but having a much better computer.

I don't recall any version of that card (GeForce GT 320) with 4GB of VRAM.  Most of them had 1 GB of DDR3.  If it is reporting more, it may be pulling system memory away to do it.

I think you were talking about me there. I'm guessing the reason I experienced crashes was because of my incredibly uncommon graphics card- its an alpha game, these issues are to be expected.

Anyway, remember the game us nowhere near completion. There will be crashes, there will be incompatibility issues- it's what happens this early in the development process. Letting the devs know about the issue is good, but rember that this is a part of what you signed up for when you became a founder.

Actually, try running the GPU-Z utility. It'll give you very detailed information about your graphics card (including actual VRAM specs).

When i run DXdiag it said 4 Gb, but i  i guess i´ll have to get another grahic card. After all, it´s truly old nd i was thinking about replacing it, so it seems it is the right time.

That's probably the best option. At the high end Nvidias new GTX 970 is a really good choice. Alternatively the GTX 960 would do a good job, or on the AMD side an R9 285.

I replaced the graphic card 5 days ago and the game seemed to work, but when i select quick start or custom game, the game crashes and i recieve a message saying my NVIDIA Wndows Kernel Driver version 353.62 stopped working.

I guess it´s a problem with the NVIDIA drivers and the technical support cant even help me with that, but i dont know because i have got no answer from them so... does anyone here know what can i do?

I have already tried installing older versions of the drivers, but that changed nothing.

The good news is that the next build has like 2 months worth of bug fixes and driver work arounds in it.

Thanks for the info, i hope it works, because i bet NVIDIA is not going to release any good drivers someday.

Hell, i have just updated my drivers to the 355.60 version, which says

But it´s still crashing everytime i try to play.

The version of the game that the drivers are directed at is not out yet. Most expect it today,though I believe what was actually said was more like, "not before the 13th", so it might not be today. Either way, expect it soon. Hope it doesn't crash for you after that!
