Where to start?

Hey all, I just purchased the whole list of Stardock apps because my desktop does need major help, but then where do you begin? How do you learn to use Windowblinfs or Tiles. Fences has a fairly decent how to section but I'm wasting time clicking around these apps. Any advice? Thanks for any responses.
