Revealing the map?

I have been playing arround with map settings a lot lately.

I'd like to know if there is a cheat/command that allows me to reveal the whole map when I start a game. I wanna see how consistent things like placement of homeworlds, planet class distributions etc. are.

Thanks in advance for your answers :)

Just make a trait that gives you 2000 sensors and you can see everything.

You bring it up by pressing the "`" key, usually to the left to the "1" key of the row of numbers.

Thanks for the quick answers :)

Unfortunately the "`" key can't be directly typed on my german keyboard, so the concsole doesn't show up. Any solutions for that?

I tried to use the on-screen keyboard but it switches back to german layout in-game...

The key character depends on the keyboard layout. see my reply (#26) in Console Commands.

Use the "ΓΆ"-key.
