Looks like inexpensive laptops are on their way…

 

MS is going to try to give Chromebooks a run for the money…

Digitimes wrote that apparently MS is working with Acer, Lenovo, and Inventec to produce $169-249 W10 notebooks.

Sounds like good news to me…and might be for the OEMs as well as profits haven’t been all that great for them…

I'll be in the market for a new laptop/tablet in the near future. Lower prices is good.   :thumbsup:

I was recently given a laptop that was choked to death under the junk addons they install.... it cost me a reformat and a new copy of 7 Home Premium [long story] but for $125 AUD it's not too bad.....

...then I spent an extra $22 to get it to 4gig of ram

 

$147 AUD ....about $120 USD ...;)

Looks like they're going to put decent processors into them.  If they're not horribly crippled elsewhere they sure might be worth a look.  :thumbsup:
