[Question] If you make a custom starship with Launch DLC Parts, can you share the design with people who don't have the parts?

Title. Want to know this before I start making a faction with custom ships, so that I can make the custom ships compatible with everyone.

You need a volunteer to test with that didn't buy it on launch day and got the DLC.

 

I'd suspect it might substitute another part, but it might just CTD.  Who knows?  I'd volunteer, but I have the DLC.

You know, I tried looking for those parts one day and couldn't find them. What do they look like/how do I find them?

They are all in the Small section and listed as Founder Model
