Non game question:

What is the Processor frequency of Paul's computer? Does he over clock it?

Great update on 1.03.

When if ever, will we be able to ask an AI for Peace with another AI in addition can we every 'goad' or threaten the ai into declaring war on the (human) player? There are times when I really want to insult the AI player because he does the same to me.

Also I would like a response such as 'Remove your Star-base or we will Declare war on you in 5 turns" or similar 'ultimatum'.

Great job all around!

I always end up missing these, but I've got a few burning questions this week.

1) Are there plans to allow the game to search mod folders for sound/music, custom planet assets, and graphics? Currently, all custom planet assets must be placed inside the main game folders, and sound/music/non-faction graphics must be placed outside of the Mods directory entirely, if it works at all.

2) Is there any ETA to when the game will allow custom flavor text to be added without over-writing the base flavor text files? Currently, flavor text must be in the main flavor text file, or the game ignores it, even though it does look for flavor text mods.

3) Are there any plans to change how extreme worlds interact with the game, so we don't have to change the base planets to change how each individual faction reacts to them? This would allow us to make custom factions that interact with extreme worlds in unique ways without forcing modders to resort to Total Conversion.

Just out of curiosity, are you planning on physical release?  I remember buying GalCiv and GalCiv II at Best Buys.  Even though I am a founder and have the game, I would totally also buy a box (with game DVD, manual, etc., maybe even some sort of collectable).  It would also bring more general awareness to the game and increase sales!

I can ask devs here, right? :|

Will (in future DLCs or addons) players be able to bribe pirates to attack another players? Like it was in Sins of a Solar Empire

Sorry for bad English

No game will be only available digitally.

And I would like to add further. What plans for pirates are there going to be?

And I love the new pirate ships. Arrr! *need a stardock forum pirate emote*

Thought I'd ask some questions that currently concern me in the hope that they get answered in stream later.

1.  Is Stardock aware that the Drengin and Krynn Abilities were changed in the last version of Beta 6 why was this and what patch are they going to be changed back if at all.  Paranoid Drengin etc...

2.  Is Stardock aware of the invasion bug where invader casualties are not factored in (the population of a taken planet is to high) I haven't tested this since release version possible you may have fixed???

3.  Planets that reach Pop Cap need to be more prominently displayed since it's crucial information, not hidden in menus/tooltips.  e.g. You could add notification like fleet in enemy territory cycle one and/or logo on tactical map next to planet e.g. like capital symbol.

4.  Please color code terraforming tiles of different quality.

5.  Game still needs lots of UI enhancements to better display information e.g. ship sort list.

6.  Release date of 1.1 or 1.04?

7.  Does anyone from Stardock watch any GC3 Let's Plays?  Myself and Arumba for example make a lot of suggestions for future game improvements, I play on Suicidal as well might be helpful to program AI if you can see how people are beating your game, also the comments on YouTube videos (likely steam forums/reddit too) are less fanboy esque than these forums can be, good to get a different opinion.

My recent Let's Play below

9. EDIT Oh, add separate cycle hotkey for ships, colonies, starbase etc not just tab for the lot, that drives me nuts currently.

They normally put it up on Friday-Monday depending on their schedule and time constraints.

Hmm, should really hurry and play the Krynn, while their power and glory lasts. Hehe. An awesome stream per Stardock excellence, I don't think they are capable of being anything less than a marvel to behold, give or take the occasional technical issue, which thankfully was blissfully absent this time. All in all, thoroughly better to watch than 99% of everything else. That last 1% is reserved for a miracle or something. Go Stardock, or go to the drydock!
