admiralWillyWilber, putting them in is easy. Go to the "my game" file usually installed as: C:\Users\user name\Documents\My Games\GalCiv3\Factions. In this location you will find 4 folders labeled: LeaderBGs, LeaderFGs, Logos, and Portraits. Put the picks you want to use (or all if you want) into the correct folders. then start a new game and design a new race to play using them.

If you download from Nexus, it is a zip file and once extracted it will have all the pics in .png format, ready for use.

If you use the link you have to click on each pic to open it and then click the "actions" icon in the upper right corner (looks like a cog) and on the drop down menu click "Download full resolution".

If you can't get it from there I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you.

Have posted the next 12 sets on Nexus. Most of these I think turned out really good (even though they were a pain to work). Also most are digital art. Hope you find some you can use. And yes I know some I'm showing here still have backgrounds to show them off, they all have a cutout portrait in the zip file.

I've been looking at the FG's when using them in my games, and have noticed that on most of them, when I find a BG I like them in, I make changes to them so they look better when combined. So I was thinking. Seeing that I have all the originals, if you find one that you like and want it changed in some way to better go with a BG you like, contact me and I will adjust it for you when I can. I will need to know the following:

1) What FG (send me a pic of the FG or portrait).

2) What BG (you may need to send it to me if I don't already have it). Also, if what you want as a BG is not in the correct format, i.e. PNG 1920x1080, I will change it for you.

3) How you want it adjusted, i.e., Leader made smaller; larger; moved right, left, more into the background (may need to tell me something like "beside this" or "in front of that"; reversed (facing other way), etc.

The only thing I ask is give me time to do it (I do have a job), and allow me to post the finish product on Nexus as a set for others to use if they like it.

Please push the boundaries for me. I want to know what is truly to much. Lol

I am inspired to have Susan Coffey or Audrina Patridge or Jenifer Lawrence become a leader portrait in a mod. But for this there is a snow balls chance in hell I would download as its not my taste. Interesting ad hell though.

DARCA1213, Sorry what I have is not what appeals to you for a Leader pic. I prefer to work with Sci-fi, fantasy, or even horror art, and with nudity or at least revealing imagines, be they drawings, digital, or anime, when possible. Actual photos I consider, especially  if they are of a Sci-fi character, as you see from some of the first ones I did. That being said, if you have something you really want, send it to me and I will work it when I have time. The only thing, I would want to post it for others to use.

Inspired by this mod, I've just uploaded my Glamourian faction to the Steam Workshop, with Rosie Jones as the leader.

It wasn't all that easy to find a suitable picture of her with her clothes on.

Nice  . You should post it on Nexus also. On Nexus I have posted a race using Sexy Leader pics. I hve been planing on making other races using them and combining them as a mod compilation. When I do I could link to yours. 

I created it using the opt-in 1.1. beta, and it produced a GC3CWSDATA file instead of a FACTION file.  So I'm not sure if it will work with 1.03.  I think I'll hold off on putting it on Nexus until 1.1 is available.

   I have been making available FG's, BG's, portraits, and some logos for awhile, and plan on continuing to add to those files. Now I am also going to be using them to design races that can be used in your games. They will have what is needed to play them, and can easily be edited as desired to serve your desired taste (no pun intended), such as changing ship types and palates. I hope you find some enjoyment in them.
