Q about Ship upgrading

How do u upgrade all the ships of 1 type at the same time instead of one at a time?

You can use the 'govern' tab to issue orders to multiple ships at a time. (Including upgrade) Warning, it doesn't check to make sure you have enough money, so you can get kicked into 'finance only' mode for awhile.
