"All gave some, some gave all."

Thank you for my freedom.

The title says it all, really. Please take some time to be properly humble and grateful.

Thank you.

A "Thank You" is never enough, but that, our gratitude and remembering what they gave is the best we can do.

I don't need a special day to remember those that have died for this country, they are on my mind everyday.  I can't watch a war movie without tearing up.  As a 20 year retired veteran that's been there, I say sorry and thanks.

Yes...well, my family has been in all the wars, from before day 1 ...and served, I chose a different army to serve in, but everyone who serves or served are my brothers and sisters forever.

I just wish your title didn't have to remind me of Billy Ray Cyrus.....   X|

I have a few family members serving, and that have served. There is a special place in Heaven for those who serve.

Couple of weeks ago we in Oz [and NZ] 'celebrated' 100 years since Gallipoli  .... a battle which changed our countries forever.

It was the sort of conflict that saw 9 Victoria Crosses earned.

That is a phenomenal number for one action.

The origin of the 'ANZAC'  tradition.
