Zip that folder and put on file share site and post the link below 
Add the information from that folder into your game

This should definitely be stickied so everyone can share custom factions easily.
... the one you are building with the ingame editor, couldn't be used in MP ...
does anyone know, where to copy them to use them in MP ?
Custom races, mods and dlc have been disabled for MP temporarily for stability reasons.
They'll get back in in a later patch.
This is Exactly the kind of thread that will be in the modding section of the forums. Well done on the races. You'll get some of mine soon. If you'd like to submit any for the "Ultimate Sci-Fi Wars" let me know. The more the merrier 
What's up with the name_numbersandletters.faction files? Tried opening them with notepad and wordpad and can't. Reinstalling Ultra-edit for my edits now. Just wondered what the files are.

Just came up for air after playing ~140 turns and then going out for dinner. Yes, playing on Insane sized map, 43 major races, all minors, it's been a blast so far running into new races that I have no clue about. EXCELLENT! The wife has been warned to stay away, the cats are locked out, I'm going back in...
I've read that they are rar compressed files without the header.

Awesome and much appreciated to you both. Just scanning the faction titles from Seilore, I see I wasn't the only one taken with the idea of "Evil Opposites".
One question though. Looking at the Date Modified bit, are these factions up to date as of whenever the 3000 to 1000 to 5000 credit switches were made? Not that it matters TOO much as I should be able to edit them myself. I figure it'd be a pain for you to update them, but I thought I would ask nonetheless.
I've only made one race so far, just to mess around and learn to play again as unlike everyone else I didn't get all that sweet sweet beta time to enjoy the game. I made some Iron Sky style Space Nazis. I used pics from "Iron Sky", "Wolfenstein", and the one bad guy from "Hellboy" (can't remember his name) as the race leader. No custom ships yet, just the pics for the faction and faction creator. I would put up a screenshot but I'm hesitant to do so as I did use a modified swastika in the faction logo for the game I'm currently playing. I uploaded a screenshot to Steam so you can see it there if you wish. My profile isn't private.
I will zip it up and share upon request through PM. I don't wish to offend anyone who may find even a modified version of that symbol unacceptable.
Hate that I have to even point this out, but: Just for the record I am Not some kind of racist scum bag. All of my granduncles fought for us in WW2. I'm American through and through. My favorite color and color combination happens to be red and black however, and personally it's aesthetically pleasing to me. I've always thought Nazi military hardware "looked cool", that does NOT mean I think the Nazis themselves "were cool", nor was their *&%ed up ideology. There's a big difference between thinking a color scheme looks cool and being a actual PoS who would support something like that.
I've always tried to separate Nazi's from Germans. Although the Nazi's and SS were lunatic racists, I have a strong respect for the German boys who died for their country. And the Germans did have some great hardware.

Description: After 3er World War the humans united at one banner to conquer the galaxy and in the pursuit of better idea.
The imperial parliament elected special individual who have both qualities: physical health and intelligence , this individual is a pinnacle of human evolution one of the best, this individual take throne as Emperor of the United Earth Empire!
Due to all of this my approach to custom race is as follows humans are aggressive , zealous ,xenophobic , great scientist, traders and warriors.
Here are 10 custom factions, with new alien art and (mainly) new logos. 9 are serious, one is for fun, but they all work. There is pre-existing logo art from a different author on this forum (which I can no longer find, oddly) that I had downloaded too.

8 more. Just in game assets, no custom pics/logos. And they are tongue in cheek so might ruin immersion for some (example, the knights who say Ni!). But for those just wanting to get 100+ custom factions, its 8 more to add to the mix.
