Yes you can expect very good game .

+/- diferent from FA but good game with good team work on it.

Wasn't Stardock a founder of sorts of Oxide though? Sounds a bit like second party relationship, like Retro Studios is with Nintendo.

Some great talent and experience there, but so few of you! Are you out-sourcing some of the work or getting some people from Stardock in?

I am kinda hoping it is otherwise the few people in Oxide are gonna be a wee bit over worked if the scale and quality of the game is to be as good as advertised.

So I'm guessing the Gal Civ guys are now moving over to Ashes (and I suppose that the Sorcerer King guys have already largely moved on to Offworld).

Thanks for the link, that is an interesting approach they have taken to the perennial staffing problem in this industry.

Brad and I are designing the game primarily. Oxide is doing all the engine work, art, etc. and also providing design feedback. 

The GalCiv team is still largely on GalCiv, though some are transitioning to an unannounced project. Mohawk is developing Offworld Trading Company on their own.

There is no...simple answer to this.

Oxide and Stardock are making it together.
