When did the AI start using my custom ships ????

May have always been there but i just noticed the AI using my ship designs.  Haven't seen it use my combat ships yet but it is using my sensor ships and my constructors

I think it happened in one of the 6.2 iterations. Frogboy's brilliant idea to keep us on our toes and give the AI a helping hand at ship design.

Given that most of my serious combat designs are based around a high-level Hyperion Shrinker, I'm not too worried :)

That's awesome :) Now if only it would auto share your ship designs with your friends and put your ships in their games and their ships in yours.

Would probably be pretty cool up until the flying barrage of troll-face ships destroys your planet....lol.

In reality it is probably not a bad idea.  Everyone bitches about the AI not being good enough or cheating.  Some could consider this an AI cheat but I'll look at it as "a helping hand "

The only ship they seem to build was my cargo/sensor ship.
