List of Suggestions

Just a few game suggestions:

-Upgrading my custom ship designs is frustrating. I get a new technology, and now I have to go through all my designs and change them to use it. I have a whole topic on that here.

-The battle viewer, though awesome, still needs some work on cameras. Specifically, I often find it is zoomed out so far that the entire battle fills only about a tenth of my screen, with the rest being empty space. It also has a habit of switching back and forth between the same two angles in rapid succession.

-In the new tech UI, I have no way to see where available technologies will lead. I have to flip over to the tree, then flip back to pick the technology I want. I'd like the option to just stay in the tree and pick my technologies directly from there, as in GalCiv II.

-When I go to rush the building of a ship, I don't know how much it will cost. I don't see anywhere where it tells me how many credits it will take to rush the ship. I just have to click and hope it isn't too much. Maybe I'm missing it, but if it isn't there it should be.

There's no need to flip back, you can just pick the techs from the tree.

I've tried selecting it as I would in GalCiv II and it doesn't work. Is this a bug or is it done differently?

All I do is click on the tech in the tech tree and it's selected for me.  The only times it doesn't work are when I click on a tech that is too advanced - e.g. selecting a tech from the age of war when I'm still in the age of expansion.  From the very first tech selection to the last I stay in the tree view.

1 - I'm curious if we will get access to the blueprint system. It's my understanding that many of the core ships are designed by the AI as you research new techs just like GalCiv2. I don't know how moddable this is but you maybe able to create these blueprints for custom techs. 

2- They are working on the Battle Viewer cameras. Right now they tend to miss all of the action. 

3 - There are patterns in the tree. The trunks offer all the basic features of the future trees. At each fork the branches get more and more specialized. If you learn these patterns you will be able to navigate that much faster. All the information about what is available is actually at the beginning of the tree not the end.

4 - Hover over the upgrade button, there is a tooltip. The Govern > Command screen needs  tooltip when you are upgrade a large number of ships at once
