Two days out before release and no dedicated modding section of the forums? For shame :P

Don't think it is so much a copyright thing... more an "appropriateness" thing... like all those mods that turn RPGs into soft porn.  

The steam workshop has lots of mods that are essentially taken from movies, tv shows (particularly anime), books, etc.  

Again, I'm not partial to the workshop.  I just prefer to maintain a mod in one place (because I'm lazy).  But a modding forum could be really useful, maybe not so much for always updating/posting mods but for discussing mods, helping each other debug, etc.

I think on steam they remove things that violate ip but only if the rights owner requests it.

I know you're busy, especially today I imagine, but when you get a chance we could really use that section today. There's already a few posts that will either have to be moved or reposted and having to repost something means you'll loose all the replies to it.

I'll be putting up a post here today sometime for a community project and I'll need you to move it there when it's up. I'll try not to bug you too much though ;). We appreciate all you do Island Dog.

Well, as modding section would be useful for the modders to ask questions and discuss mod making techniques and such not necessarily for putting mods up as steam workshop would cover that.

Indeed. It's just a communication and organization issue. That's what the separate forum section is needed for. They've never hosted mods on the forums. We've always used a host like dropbox or a site like the Nexus, or in this case the Steam workshop.
