Can't finish anything but the campaign

Unfortunately I am not able to complete any skirmishes or arena haven't bothered trying multiplayer.
Same thing always seems to happen each time I try. I can play for s while 5-10 minute then the game crashes to desktop with an assertion failure.
That is the only error message I get so I have included a couple of event logs.

Any help would be appreciated. Although most of these problems could be negated by a simple save function for skirmishes.
