Wide screen + ModernMix causes horizontal lines?

I have a 3+1 setup.  (1920 x 1080 | 3440 x 1440 | 1920 x 1080) + (2560 x 1440).  A GTX970 that runs all of them.

With ModernMix installed, the ultrawide screen has flickering horizontal lines across the entire screen, and some times the right half jumps up and down a few pixels very quickly.  If I lower the resolution to 1920 x 1080 the horizontal lines stop.  If I put the resolution at 2560 x 1440 the horizontal lines are less common but present.

If I run only the widescreen the same issues occur.  I've also ran the screen with two different graphics cards (both GTX970) and the issue still occurs.

I uninstalled ModernMix on a random hunch and it seems to have resolved all issues.

I tried to search the forums for similar issues, but the forum search seems to do nothing.  I also don't see a place to log a bug/support task anywhere so I assume it is intended to report these here.

It sounds like a hardware fault to me.  I cannot see how ModernMix should have any impact on it and I have never seen any kind of report even remotely similar.  On the other hand you are running a combined resolution that is extremely large so it is well outside anything anyone would have tested.

If that's a LG super wide, they do seem to have a few issues with the left and right hand of the screen getting out of sync on occasion.

Was this when you had a modern app running in a window, or straight from bootup?  Also if you are at the login screen did you see the same?

It definitely could be a hardware issue, uninstalling ModernMix just happened to be the only thing that has had an effect so far.  It is an LGUC97.  I have tried it with only this one monitor hooked up and have the same results.  I have not seen the issue during login.  I don't remember ever seeing the issue with only the desktop showing.

I'll just be happy that the issue has stopped for now, and hope it stays this way.

I thought maybe to post this here in case others had the same issue.  I didn't know if ModernMix injects itself with all apps (modern or not) and if it did this then I could see it being related.  Pure guess.
